Non-IC type housing for incandescent lamps (Max. 50W), new construction. Designed for use in non-insulated ceiling or for insulated ceiling but insulation must be kept 3" from all sides of the housing. This shallow housing is for locations with 6" joists and tighter ceiling clearances. Depth is 5 1/2

- Self resetting thermal protector deactivates fixture if overheating occurs due to improper lamping or misapplied insulation
