This tough bulb is made so that its coating will retain its contents even if dropped from 40 feet. This bulb can often be reused when dropped from 3 feet or less.

Although these bulbs are shatterproof, they lose only 1.5 percent to 3.5 percent of their illumination from their coating. They put out a bright 40,000 lumens and have a color temperature of 4000K.

Sold by the six-pack, these shatterproof 400-watt metal halide bulbs require no assembly. They're self-contained and ready to install, and their strength doesn't deteriorate as they age.
