Should every fixture in the church be the same color temperature?
For the house and ambient areas, yes, keep them consistent. Mixing a 3000K fixture next to a 4000K one reads as a mistake, even to people who do not know why. Most sanctuaries land around 3000K to 3500K for a warm, reverent feel. The stage is where you can break that rule, since color-changing and adjustable fixtures let you shift the look for different services.
How many lumens does it take to light a sanctuary with a high ceiling?
It depends on the ceiling height and the floor area, so there is no single number. As a rough starting point, the taller the ceiling, the higher the lumen output you need per fixture to get usable light down at seat level. Rather than guess, send us your room dimensions and ceiling height and we can run a photometric layout so you order the right output the first time.
What should I look for so the lighting does not ruin our livestream?
Cameras are pickier than eyes. Look for a CRI of 90 or higher so faces record accurately, and confirm the fixture is flicker-free, since older ballasted lighting shows up as banding or pulsing on video. Dimmable fixtures also help, so you can balance the stage against the camera without blowing out the shot.
Can I use the same fixtures inside and outside the building?
Only the ones rated for it. A good portion of this collection carries damp or wet location ratings, and many exterior-suitable models are IP65 or higher for rain and washdown. Check the rating on the product page before you put an indoor fixture under a soffit or over an entrance.
